Daniel is a Partner at W H Matthews & Co's City office and deals with Private Client matters. He qualified as a Solicitor in 2006 having read Law at the University of Sussex. As an experienced Private Client Solicitor, he can advise his clients on a wide range of subjects including Wills, Probate, Trusts, Tax, Powers of Attorney and Court of Protection matters.
Daniel regularly deals with the administration of complex estates on behalf of his clients including those involving foreign assets, missing beneficiaries and contentious issues. He is a member of the Law Society Private Client Section and an affiliate member of both the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and Solicitors for the Elderly. Whilst Daniel predominantly deals with private client work, he is also able to provide his clients with advice in relation to various property matters.
When required Daniel will work with his clients other advisors, including their accountants and investment professionals, to ensure that the advice they receive is complete and well rounded. Daniel's clients frequently praise his friendly, sympathetic approach and clear advice. Although Daniel is based at the firm's City office, appointments can usually be arranged to meet with him at any of the our offices and he also undertakes home visits.
